It's a common question when buying meat in bulk. We're here to share knowledge and help our clients through the process. 

Dressed weight (also referred to as Hung weight) simply means AFTER it's been prepared for butchering. Keep in mind that each beast is unique, which means that weights can vary slightly from one to the next.

We weigh the whole beast when dressed, and if you purchased a half beast, you would be invoiced 50% of that weight, minus your deposit.

After you place an order, we will send you an invoice for a deposit payment. 

This deposit is a partial payment that confirms your order and allows us to reserve your product.

We request a deposit to ensure your order is secured and reserved for you. 

This helps us manage the demand for our products effectively.

Once your deposit is received, we will proceed with processing your order. The remaining balance will be invoiced to you after the animal is weighed by the butcher and the final price is determined.

*All invoices to be paid prior to pick up, ordelivery. 

The remaining payment is based on the dressed weight confirmed by the buther, and the corresponding price per kilogram - as specified in your order. 

This ensures that you are charged accurately for the product you receive.

In most cases, the deposit is non-refundable, as it is used to secure your order and cover associated costs. 

If you need to make changes to your order, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible. 

We will do our best to accommodate your request, depending on the stage of processing and the nature of the changes.

The delivery or pickup date will be communicated to you based on the availability of your selected product and the processing time required.
